Default Thx ANet! Hench rezzing much improved.

The Friday update seems to have VASTLY improved hench AI involving rezzes. Anyone else notice this?

I'd say it has improved, but I'd say there's still a wee bit of a problem. I don't think the healers should be rezing in the middle of battle still, which I've noticed still happens as they'll take vital time on casting which they could be doing on healing. At least the prot henchies don't use rebirth all the time anymore. Uck that was annoying. But good un' them for realizing and fixing the problem.

I haven't played much with henchies for 2 weeks or so. How has the rezzing been improved?

I notice that henchies res you the moment you died. But i still notice one weird problem, if someone else on the team died, than they would start ressing that toon and forget about healing you.

I am glad that when there are 2 henchies with hard res, and I didn't take the hard res off my bar I don't have to res instead of the henchies.

That was really annoying...

I'm not exactly sure what was fixed, but I can't tell. I was caping an elite around perdition rock last night with an all hench party including Mhenlo and Lina. Lina died, and I let Mhenlo stand over her dead corpse for almost 5 minutes, but he would never res her. I had no choice but to just kill myself and start over, because I had brought a cap sig inplace of my normal res sig.

Now they just need to fix the problem of the hench needing to be right NEXT to the corpse just to use res. Thanx for running right into a middle of a mod to cast a 6 sec spell.

Its a ranged spell. USE IT LIKE ONE!!!

Please, last night, I spent half an hour looking at the protector healer hench run back and forth for half an hour between me and Tia, with me typing in all sorts of names (at which point I gave up). I even got a series of screens caps. So my opinion the hench AI still sucks.

I like the new hench AI for monks. I think it has vastly improved

One caveat: I've only used the Cantha henches since the update.
It may just be playing style. I usually take healer and protector. The whole hench team used to collapse if either went down, but now they seem to be back in the fight right away, and at decent health levels. And they seem to be smarter about rezzing me if I go down - not right away, but not 5 min after battle either.

The new ai is super :P

Although it isn't exactly assassin friendly, they use all their res sigs on you and you die just 5 seconds later because you are still banged by hordes of ennemy's :P

but atleast we got rezzing henchies

Way to go ANET !

We beat a rank 9+ spike with henchway because of this..they kept spiking us down, but our Healer Hench kept ressing us up, long after our signets had run out.

Haven't seen any extraordinary rezzing yet, since all the rezzers still like to stand in aoe and die at the same time.

Now the problem is they res too fast.

we killed a mob of naga, but 3 henchies died, before i could rebirth, they all used up their res sigs. -.o way to waste it.

if by "improved" you mean made it so the non-healer henchy burn their rez sigs on a person while you're right in the middle of using rebirth on the dead person, then yep. they've been improved.

That happened to me during Lost Treasure with my A/Mo today. I went to use Ressurect but some damn hench used a Res Sig on the healer hench before I could finish ressing her. X_X

I am just wondering is this the Canthan Henchies only or the Tryrian as well?

Heh, alas

I'm glad they added Res Sigs to the henchies skill bars....was desperately needed
